Enjoy a host of summer activities...

Endless hikes

With its 580 km of dedicated paths, Engadine is a paradise for hikers, and many departures can be made from Chesa Klucker. The more daring can climb ambitious "piz" like Chapütschin - 3386 m, Bernina (4048 m), Margna (3159 m), or even Roseg (3937 m), while others can opt for more accessible peaks like Muot’Otta and Marmoré. Less ambitious ones can try the long chairs in the garden and enjoy easy walks, especially along Lake Sils, where they can even swim. The marked paths have picnic areas and benches for eating, resting, and admiring the splendid panoramas.

Mountain biking and cycling trails

400 km of varied courses of all levels await you! Try the famous climb of the Maloja pass and be seduced by unique hikes with breathtaking views.

Kitesurfing, sailing and windsurfing

The legendary Maloja wind has made Lake Silvaplana a well-known and appreciated destination for sailors, windsurfers, and kitesurfers from around the world. Test your skills and see!

Canoeing, Rowboats, and Stand-Up Paddle

A fantastic way to explore the lakes of Sils and Silvaplana! The Beach Club and sailing and kitesurfing schools in Silvaplana rent out equipment and offer courses for all skill levels.

Horse and carriage

Several riding schools and beautiful riding trails are nearby. However, if you prefer a family outing that allows you to savour the beauty of the landscape, there's nothing like a carriage ride! Reserve through the "Kutsche" contacts.

Fishing with Rod and Reel

What angler hasn't dreamed of trying their luck in the lakes and streams of the Upper Engadine! The Fexbach at the end of the property is a treasure trove. You can also explore the crystal-clear waters of Lake Sils and Lake Silvaplana. Numerous fishing spots are accessible throughout the summer until September 15.

A golfing experience

Passionate golfers will not be disappointed! With four golf courses within a 30 km radius, including two 18-hole courses in Samedan (16 km) and Zuoz (27 km), the region offers a variety of options. Not far away, the Kulm Golf in St. Moritz offers nine holes, and even closer, the Hotel Margna in Sils-Baselgia has a beautiful practice area with Pitch & Putt (4 holes) and a driving range.

Beautiful getaways...

In the Poschiavo and Bregaglia valleys

In the valleys of Poschiavo and Bregaglia, there are absolute must-sees! Especially noteworthy is the village of Soglio, poetically called "the threshold" in Italian and described as "the threshold of paradise." It's magical, to say the least... Also not to be missed is the workshop of Alberto Giacometti and some of his works at the Stampa Museum, next to the village where he was born.

By train

By train, with the Rhaetian Railway (RhB). The Chur–Tiefencastel–Engadin route, with its helical tunnels and breathtaking viaducts, offers one of the most picturesque and fascinating train journeys in Europe. The Bernina route, a UNESCO World Heritage site, allows you to experience the glaciers of the Engadine before gently descending into Val Poschiavo.
